Originally from France, I moved to the UK in 2008 for what was meant to be a short stay. Seventeen years later, I’m still based in Bristol, where my British adventure first began on a sunny spring day.

Before moving into finance for SMEs, I spent over 15 years as a project manager in the live music and performing arts industry, working on iconic events like WOMAD Festivals, Mayfest, and Peter Gabriel’s tours. After the pandemic prompted a shift, I transitioned into finance, studying AAT and joining Set-A-Side in 2021. Though I’ve stepped away from the thrill of live events, I’ve found a new rhythm in finance and business support.

Alongside Kate, I manage all aspects of Set-A-Side’s financial operations – bookkeeping, credit control, financial reporting, budgeting, and customer support. Our goal is to keep the business running efficiently and sustainably as it continues to grow.

On my 31st birthday while touring South and Central America with a classical orchestra, I was detained by Chilean border control for accidentally smuggling a foreign apple. After some broken Spanish and tense moments in a windowless room, I was freed–apple-less but wiser. That day ended with a swim in a rooftop pool overlooking the Andes. Not a bad birthday, all things considered!
