A logistics pro with a background in the music industry, Barry has been a part of Set-A-Side for nearly two decades. A proud family man – married to Suwanna for 17 years, they have an 12 year old daughter together, Holly.

From Sound Engineer to Storage Specialist – I’ve worked at Set-A-Side for 19 years, witnessing our journey from one unit to the large-scale operation we are today. One of my latest projects, I successfully organised 36 transport movements under tight deadlines to get a full set cleared from studio to storage – on time, stress-free, and seamlessly executed.

I’m known as the perfectionist of the team. I work directly with clients, logging every detail into our bespoke database, calendars, and transport schedules to ensure nothing slips through the cracks. Whether it’s striking a set or prepping for a new studio build, I help productions stay organised and on track.

As a child during the winter, I once poured hot tea into my wellies to warm my feet while fishing. It then dawned on me that I had to wait four hours until collection…plus no tea!
